The world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it.

Helen Keller

I'm a licensed psychotherapist working with adults struggling with symptoms of chronic stress, anxiety, depression and developmental trauma — particularly as they manifest in problems around relationships, parenting, work and career, health concerns and major life transitions.

The Approach

Clearing the path, then the interior remodel

My work focuses, at the outset, on helping clients identify and process the problem memories, stuck emotions or traumas that can drive persistently negative thoughts and unhelpful patterns of behavior.

01

Clearing the path

We clear the path of obstacles and undue stress — the memories, stuck emotions and traumas that keep old patterns in place.

02

The interior remodel

It is my personal goal to help clients build an unshakable trust in their true self, their whole self — to live more of their life with greater love, meaning, and sense of ease.

Wondering whether this approach could fit what you're carrying? Ask Jeanne — it's a short email away.

The Work

Holistic, relational and grounded in neuroscience

My therapeutic work assumes a mind-body connection and is highly informed by current neuroscience and Buddhist psychology. My clinical orientation draws from psychodynamic theory and depth psychology as well as attachment theory and developmental psychology.

  • Anxiety & depressionPersistent worry, low mood, loss of motivation

Modalities I draw from

Applied as appropriate to a client's needs — not a fixed protocol. For anxiety and trauma in particular, I often draw on EMDR therapy. Tap any modality to learn more.

All you need is already within you — only you must approach your self with reverence and love. All I plead with you is this: make love of yourself perfect.

The First Step

The hardest part is the first email. Here's all it takes.

1

Reach out

Send an email or leave a voicemail. A few sentences about what's going on is plenty — you don't need to explain everything.

2

We talk

Jeanne will respond to set up a brief conversation — a low-pressure chance to ask questions and see whether it feels like a fit.

3

We begin

If it's a match, you'll schedule your first 50-minute online session — from wherever in Washington you are.

Reaching out isn't a commitment. It's just a conversation — and it can wait no longer than you want it to.
